Served throughout Spain as a delicious tapas, this easy-to-make garlic shrimp is a perfect small plate as an appetizer, or for entertaining.
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp hot red pepper flakes
2 tsp salt
48 medium shrimp, peeled
chopped flat-leaf parsley
Heat the oil, garlic, hot pepper flakes, and salt in a heavy-bottomed pan until the oil sizzles. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes, just until they are pink. Immediately remove shrimp from the heat, and place in serving bowl. Sprinkle the shrimp with parsley, and serve immediately.
